Very happy with A&A Plumbing right now... In the last 6 months, they have visited us twice and both visits were wonderful experiences. Matthew Flores (6 months ago) and Evan Bylsma (yesterday) deserve high praise for their courtesy, professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency in taking care of our plumbing issues. About 6 months ago, Matthew Flores from A&A Plumbing took care of 2 problems: a clogged drain (sink) and issues with our hot water heater. For both issues, Matthew Flores was superlative!!! He solved all problems, and even helped resolve a problem with a faucet manufacturer (Pfister) by giving the Pfister trouble-shooter critical information which led to Pfister agreeing to send us a (free) replacement faucet. Matthew went above-and-beyond, was HONEST with us about what he thought he could / could not do -- very TRUSTWORTHY! Also, was able to very clearly explain what was wrong and what he could do to fix it, and successfully completed all of his work without any need for a call-back or follow-up visit. I am still very happy with Matthew's work, six months later. Matthew also had an assistant with him (cannot remember his name) who was also helpful. As part of the service from 6 months ago, A&A Plumbing offered a free follow-up visit where they would check out the entire plumbing and offer a free hot-water-heater flush. That free follow-up visit occurred yesterday, and Evan Bylsma was just as courteous and professional as Matthew Flores was. He completed all work, with me by his side most of the time--Evan was very able to answer all questions and offer tremendous advice. I am very happy with both visits and I am glad I called them when I needed help. I don't provide many reviews, but felt Matthew and Evan deserved high praise, and by extension, A&A Plumbing also deserves high praise.

Melanie really did help us out. She came out very fast and earlier into the day and re routed our drainage piping to allow easier flow and cleaned out the existing drainage pipe so thst our ac wouldn't overflow with water anymore. It gave us so much peace of mind that we were really taken care of and had nothing to worry about with our AC unit.

The average amount of time it takes for pipes to freeze and burst without a heating source is about four to five hours in temperatures of 20 degrees Fahrenheit or below.
How long it will take to repair a burst pipe will depend on the extent of the damage. It can take several hours to several days depending on many different factors including the size, the location, the amount of damage, material, and age of the pipe(s).
What happens when a pipe bursts in your house is likely damage to your walls, floors, ceilings, belongings, and possibly even severe flooding. Pipe bursts happen for a variety of reasons including freezing cold temperatures, damage to the pipes or too much pressure on them.
There are several causes as to why a pipe may burst. Pipe bursts are a common problem in cold weather climates because water freezing and expanding within the pipe can cause it to burst. Many people actually don’t realize a pipe burst can actually happen at any time of the year, even in the summer. Other potential causes are rusty pipes, hard water, and bad installation. Worn out and weakened pipes have a high risk of bursting because they lose their ability to withstand the pressure from the water. If you notice stains on any of your walls, discolored water, and/or lower water pressure, these are all warning signs that your pipes could burst soon.
Yes, a plumber can fix frozen pipes. If the pipes are frozen but have not yet burst, a plumber can remedy them by applying a heat gun to thaw them.
Preston and Melanie were incredibly polite and professional. They answered all our questions thoroughly and worked quickly to help get our system repaired as soon as possible. They made us feel confident in the process and nothing felt shady or confusing, like we have experienced with other companies. They took the time to explain everything clearly, including the costs, and broke it all down so we fully understood what to expect. I highly recommend them both!
